That is a great question, Ammy. At that point, spelling is no longer its own subject. It will meld into writing and you will critique/correct spelling in your child’s writing. They more they write, the better their spelling will be. Hope that helps!

Hi Brittany! That is so hard to say. Overall, I would say I would prefer All About Spelling because it does such a good job of teaching spelling rules to help you spell any word. Spelling You See does not have that kind of structure, but it is easier to teach, cheaper, more fun, and has short lessons. It really comes down to the student and your spelling goals. We’ve used it for several years with my oldest and now my youngest is in level A! It’s one of his favorite parts of his school day! He feels successful and it’s short and sweet!

We also love Math U See! It has the same ‘slow and steady wins the race’ practice and review. My kids math skills are solid!
